We are excited to announce Stuart Campbell BSc (Hons) Extended Scope Foot & Ankle/Biomechanics Specialist is joining our clinical team at Clitheroe from Wednesday 25th August in an evening.

Stu Campbell is a consulting practitioner in general practice and elite sport and works alongside athletes from all levels and nationalities across a myriad of disciplines; he has recently opted to focus full time on his private practice having left the NHS MSK service following 7 years as a band 8 lower limb and foot and ankle specialist. Stu has been fortunate enough to apply his trade with some of the best athletes and organisations in the world and over the years has established himself as a highly respected and trusted practitioner within sport and general practice.

He has drawn on his time as a professional athlete with Team GB and his roles as a sports therapist, corrective exercise and performance specialist and Podiatrist to sculpt his own ethos and approach to treating his patients and provides a truly holistic perspective. Stu prides himself on his unique approach and enjoys the challenge of successfully treating people who have struggled with chronic injury.

Stu has lectured at University in MSK sport and pathology and continues to remain active in education on a consulting basis with a passion for passing on what he has learnt to others both in higher education and within the private sector. Stu is currently continuing to study with Podiatric surgery being the focus, this advanced level of anatomy and end-stage care provides him with additional knowledge in diagnosing and treating his patients and athletes.

In addition to training practitioners and treating patients, he is involved with various projects applying his trade in research with various partners and product development and performance with global company Digisole. The main focus of the product development is the practical application of a tool within the clinic that can be adapted to suit patient needs.

Practical application of knowledge and outcome-based treatment plans are key to his success and there is always a justification for his actions which is a shared process with his patients.
